Description
Arequipa is considered the second most important city in Peru, it is a picturesque place that combines the green field with the imposing presence of volcanoes and snow-capped mountains, such as El Misti, El Chanchani, El Pichu Pichu. Other typical dishes, such as “Cauchi”, “Chaque de Tripas”, “Solterito Arequipeño” (traditional dish from southern Peru, whose peculiar flavor is due to the use of local hot pepper and chili, among other tasty ingredients), “Chupe de Camarones” (soup of shrimps with milk, eggs, and oregano), “Cuy Chactado” (baked guinea pig), “Adobo Arequipeño” (Pork meat marinated in chicha and spices,cooked in pot).
