The international gastronomic fair in Lima, better known as “Mistura” started in 2008 with its first name “Peru Mucho Gusto” is a culinary art festival, not only opens its doors to Limenian cuisine but also integrates culture, traditions and diversity of typical dishes of Peru. Where this event is held once a year, where thousands of national and international diners are concentrated, the date of this fair is held on October 26 to November 3 where you will be able to visit and enjoy the typical dishes different days. “Mistura”, as its name says, is a blend of avant-garde from different regions of Peru joining the coast, mountains and jungle. Where you will taste a variety of gastronomic offerings at the fair of flags such as “Ceviche”, Roasted Guinea Pig, Peruvian Stuffed Red Pepper, Peruvian Cut Stew Meat, “Carapulcra” (Typical stew of pork and dehydrated potatoes, with peanuts, “aji panca” and mirasol peppers, garlic, and other spices) with dry soup and desserts such as “arroz con leche” (rice pudding) and “mazamorra morada” (a gelatin made from purple corn flour), will be one of the samples that visitors will be able to taste.
